The COVID 19 Pandemic left the parents and other members of Avvai School community in complete disarray. Many parents are hesitant to collect books from the school; could not pay fee; refused to attend the call when we wish to know about Avvai children’s online class progress. Although schools in Tamil Nadu are closed, a school has minimum expenses for its maintenance. At least for the next few years, we require support.

Support AVVAI

We require financial support in the form of donations to cover the maintenance and educational cost of children. In the normal years, the estimated cost per child is Rs.25,000 a year.

• Support to educate the rural children of low income families.
• Support to a rural cause.
• Education costs: Rs. 15,000 per annum (approx $200).
• Uniform &footwear: Rs.2000 per annum (approx $30).
• Transportation: Rs. 6,000 per annum (approx $80).
• Stationery, educational toys, computer & sports equipments: Rs. 2,000 per annum (approx $30).
